The short and interesting reading passages conform in topics and sequence with the curriculum. They deal mostly with activities of children of families already introduced into the series, in Pupil\\\'s Book 3 whose inter-ethnic marriages and other kinds of occupational and social interactions link them with the different cultures and environments of Nigeria.

The Language Exercises, which can be done orally and/or in writing, reinforce the pupil\\\'s command of the structures set out in the syllabus. The Reading Passages and the Writing Exercises in each module are written in a way as to teach the structures in that module, thus giving the book an integrated approach.
